Jade is one of the main protagonists of Bratz: The Movie. She is a bi-racial teenager who lives with her Asian mother, Julie, and her Caucasian-American father. Jade's parents love and care about her, but, because they are conservative, they prefer Jade to dress modestly and focus on her academic studies. Julie is traditional, and Jade struggles with this because it stifles her creativity with fashion. Jade is passionate about fashion design and, when she is away from her parents, she has an edgy, street-wise, Gothic Lolita inspired style. Jade is portrayed by Janel Parrish.
Jade is feisty, honest, and has strong opinions. She is open-minded to being friends with people even if they aren't in the same high school clique as her.
